Harder to Breathe

I always seem to come across a lot of artsy, ponderous underwater photos of models partially submerged in bathtubs. It's a recurring theme here on DA and also on sites like Flickr, and I wanted to try my hand at something like that. Maxine seemed to work well as my subject - at various times, she's either a movie star or a model depending on what I need her to be for the drawing, and she winds up underwater a lot anyway. This one almost drew itself.

And for anyone who may be thinking macabre thoughts, allow me to assure you that, no, she isn't dead.
