I have to thank my incredibly amazing sweetheart
for introducing me to "InuYasha". Four months ago, I barely even knew what this series was; now I'm so engrossed in the story, I actually want to cosplay as the title character for Anime Boston next year.
However, sharp-minded watchers will recall that I've actually drawn Inuyasha before, as a commission all the way back in July 2008 - and he was underwater then, too [link]
. But oh boy, is that a crummy drawing. I can't look at it anymore without wincing at how badly off-model Inuyasha is, to the point where he looks like he's 10 years old. I decided it was time for an update, now that I actually know what the show is.
And this time, Kagome is here to save the hapless half-demon's life - or she would be if it weren't for the laws of physics. You'd think the spiritual reincarnation of a master archer, of all people, would know that you can't shoot an arrow underwater.
